"For me, being a therapist is
a calling. I am passionate about what I do."

Michael Becker

LPC, M.Ed

You are tired of feeling unsatisfied and you are ready to feel passionate about life again. You are ready to make positive life changes to feel happy and to set yourself up for a bright and fulfilling future. You want to learn new ways of living, thinking, and coping to replace old, unhealthy habits. You have finally realized that artificial and only temporary lasting coping skills is not your answer. You are ready to find true, and sustained happiness.

I became a therapist because I personally know how hard it can be to live a life fueled by depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I understand how hard it can be to overcome mental health and substance abuse issues. I have dedicated my life to helping others in the same way that I was helped through the therapy process. As a young adult, I was introduced to my first therapist and immediately knew that therapy could help me. To this day, some of the most influential people in my life have been my therapists. I still rely on these same therapists that supported me through my difficult times. I was inspired by the therapy that I received to become a therapist myself, and to continue to give the gift of therapy to others who are searching for a happy, fulfilling, and balanced life.

I know how hard it is to take the first step and reach out for help. I understand from my own struggles, and through the work with my clients over the years how important therapy is to achieving the life that you want. I am confident that I can support you in reaching your goals.

Life can be difficult but it is about to get better. Reach out now to get started immediately!

I help by assisting you in identifying and replacing:

  • Life stressors

  • "Triggers,"

  • Negative/Self Defeating Thought Patterns

  • Undesired Thoughts, Feelings, Behaviors, and Decisions

I strive to create a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients that is built upon trust, empathy, and positive support. I want to help assist you in improving your life and I want you to enjoy the therapy process!

If you are ready to figure out how to implement positive change into your life then I want to work with you!

I truly believe that the therapeutic process should be enjoyed and something clients look forward to each week. I aim to create an environment that each of my clients anticipate being a part of every session.

LPC, M.A. NCC

My journey to become a therapist actually started when I was just a child. I found that I enjoyed people watching and observed the behaviors of others. I have always had a passion for finding out what makes people tick. I have also been an avid reader of biographies and autobiographies as I found people’s life stories fascinating. Sometimes the story has little bumps in the road that just need to be smoothed and other times the life road is much more complicated and requires a little help from a therapist.

As a marriage and family therapist, my goal for my clients is to start at wherever they might be in their current situation and to help them to discover how to be the best version of themselves. Every person is unique. Although issues may be the same as others, the way that they handle them can vary tremendously. For those who may need a little help, I look forward to meeting you, getting to know your story, and helping you to be a better you.
